{"id":10090,"date":"2022-06-15T14:48:51","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T12:48:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.go-fair.org\/?page_id=10090"},"modified":"2022-06-15T15:31:05","modified_gmt":"2022-06-15T13:31:05","slug":"governance-2017-2021","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.go-fair.org\/go-fair-initiative\/governance\/governance-2017-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Governance 2017-2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From 2017 to 2021 the GO FAIR governance structure was determined by the expressed needs of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.go-fair.org\/implementation-networks\/\">GO FAIR Implementation Networks (IN)<\/a> and the participating member states (MS). The governance structure back then was developed by the founding member states: France, Germany and the Netherlands. It consisted of three governance bodies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.go-fair.org\/go-fair-initiative\/governance\/steering-committee\/\">Steering Committee<\/a> (SC)<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.go-fair.org\/go-fair-initiative\/governance\/stakeholder-forum\/\">Stakeholder Forum<\/a> (SF)<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.go-fair.org\/go-fair-initiative\/governance\/board\/\">Executive Board<\/a> (EB)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>which were supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.go-fair.org\/go-fair-initiative\/\">GO FAIR International Support and Coordination Office (GFISCO)<\/a> and the National Support Offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How were the governance bodies constituted?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Stakeholder Forum consisted of the IN coordinators.<\/li><li>The members of the Executive Board were proposed by the Stakeholder Forum. The EB members then elected an EB Chair and a Vice Chair.
