Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fostering the coherent development of the global Internet of FAIR Data & Services (IFDS), with the main focus on early developments in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).<\/p>\n

Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n

The GO FAIR Initiative will contribute to and coordinate the coherent development of the Internet of FAIR Data & Services through community-led initiatives in different activity streams:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Support for the creation and running of GO FAIR Implementation Networks (IN)<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Ensure optimal coordination between existing initiatives that target the development and implementation of components of the Internet of FAIR Data & Services.<\/li>\n
  3. Advocate for and support choices compliant with the FAIR guiding principles<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  4. Focus on early developments in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) with a global perspective.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n

    GO FAIR follows a bottom-up open implementation strategy for the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC)<\/a> as part of a broader global Internet of FAIR Data & Services (IFDS)<\/a>. The approach is largely based on the EOSC communication<\/a> and the recommendations of the Commission High Level Expert Group<\/a> on the EOSC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
