The Executive Board (EB)<\/strong> was the representative body for the Implementation Networks (IN). Members of the EB were proposed by the Stakeholder Forum<\/a> and the composition was approved by the Steering Committee<\/a>. EB members were often active in the INs, but this was not a requirement.<\/p>\n

The role of the EB was to ensure that GO FAIR achieved its long-term goals as defined by the Steering Committee. It ensured that Implementation Networks were represented accurately and communicated structurally with GO FAIR\u2019s International Support and Coordination Office (GFISCO).<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Executive Board coordinated within and between the pillars: GO CHANGE<\/a>, GO TRAIN<\/a> and GO BUILD<\/a>, to ensure maximum exchange of experiences and developments. These processes were supported and facilitated by the GFISCO.<\/p>\n

The EB membership was intended to be balanced among the three GO FAIR pillars, the intention was to reach a total of nine members (three representatives per pillar).<\/p>\n

Erik Schultes (GFISCO International Science Coordinator) served as the Secretary of the Executive Board.<\/p>\n
