\"\"Making it easy for humans to make metadata for machines<\/h3>\n

On June 26, the Danish e-Infrastructure Cooperation<\/a> (DeiC), in cooperation with the GO FAIR Foundation<\/a>, launched two Metadata for Machine workshops on behalf of two research communities seeking to upgrade the FAIRness of research data. The workshops are\u00a0conducted via teleconference in a series of five modules to be completed in mid-September.<\/p>\n

Participants include: members from the AnaEE research infrastructure<\/a> (M4M.5), the National Energy System Transition Facilities project represented by the Wind Energy department<\/a> at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet \u00a0(M4M.6), and John Graybeal from Stanford University’s Center for Expanded Data Annotation and Retrieval<\/a> (CEDAR). The workshop is co-directed by Erik Schultes from the GO FAIR International Support and Coordination Office, and Diba Terese Markus, Aalborg University Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to creating FAIR metadata solutions for these two application areas, participants aim to demonstrate interoperability between their respective data streams. At the end of the workshop series, FAIRification roadmaps for these two communities will be aimed for.<\/p>\n
